The Problem with Rubbish and fish slaughter on the banks of the River Ebro has reached dangerous environmentally and hazardous levels. A meeting will be taking place on the 14th April In Chiprana which has the attention from International media from over 20 countries. The meeting and press conference is being organised by a Uk based company called Angling Spirit. Angling Spirit will be launching a campaign called "Friends of the Ebro" and have approached no less than the President of Spain and the government to enlist their support in an environmental clean-up of this renowned section of the river.
The purpose of the campaign is to have the river banks cleaned up, the rubbish removed and the area kept clean on an on going basis. In addition to the clean up operation there will be a children's angling/environmental awareness foundation established. The foundation will provide children from the local area and abroad to come to the Ebro and have coaching about best practice angling and respecting the environment. This will be organised and co ordinated through Angling Spirit.

The Catalyst for all of the above was when the president of Angling Spirit Ross Honey came to Spain and visited Chiprana to allocate the host country and venue rights to the World Championship Fishing event which is due to take place from the 31st May-3rd June.

"The River Ebro is one of if not the best locations in the world for Wells catfish and I had two options when I saw the mess on the river bank, either to go to one of the other countries with suitable facilities and ignore the problem or come to the Ebro and do something about it.

The location is such a beautiful place and with everybody working together we can make a difference responsibly" Bringing The World Catfish Classic to the Ebro is going to generate a huge amount of interest and awareness of the area which coupled with the clean up operation will send out a very positive message to the world and assist in generating tourism."

Ross Honey who has been responsible for establishing and promoting a series of high profile international events will be hosting the meeting and press conference on the 14th April in Chiprana at 20.00 at the town hall along with other officials.

Das Problem mit Müll und Fisch Schlachten an den Ufern des Ebro erreicht hat gefährliche umweltfreundlichen und gefährlichen Ebenen. Ein Treffen stattfinden wird am 14. April In Chiprana, die die Aufmerksamkeit von internationalen Medien aus über 20 Ländern hat. Die Sitzung und Pressekonferenz wird von einem in Großbritannien ansässigen Firma namens Angeln Geist organisiert. Angeln Geist wird eine Kampagne namens "Friends of the Ebro" und haben näherte nicht weniger als der Präsident von Spanien und die Regierung auf, ihre Unterstützung zu gewinnen ökologischer Sanierung des renommierten Abschnitt des Flusses.
Der Zweck der Kampagne ist es, die Ufer aufgeräumt, den Müll entfernt und die Fläche gehalten auf einem sauberen auf laufender Basis. Neben den Aufräumarbeiten wird es einen Kinder-Angeln sein / Umweltbewusstsein Stiftung gegründet. Die Stiftung wird Kindern aus der Region bieten und Ausland an den Ebro kommen und Coaching über Best-Practice-Angeln und die Umwelt respektiert. Dies wird organisiert und koordiniert werden durch Angeln Geist koordiniert.
Der Katalysator für alle oben war, als der Präsident Angeln Geist Ross Honey nach Spanien kam und besuchte Chiprana in das Gastland und Veranstaltungsort Rechte an der Weltmeisterschaft Angeln Veranstaltung, die stattfinden soll aus nehmen Sie den 31. Mai - 3. Juni vergeben.
"Der Ebro ist einer, wenn nicht den besten Standorten der Welt für Wells Wels und ich hatte zwei Möglichkeiten, wenn ich das Chaos am Ufer des Flusses sah, mit einem der anderen Länder mit geeigneten Einrichtungen zu gehen und das Problem ignorieren oder kommen zu dem Ebro und etwas dagegen tun. Die Lage ist so ein schöner Ort und mit jedem zusammenarbeiten können wir einen Unterschied machen verantwortungsvoll "Bringing the World Catfish Classic bis zum Ebro wird eine riesige Menge an Interesse und Bewusstsein für die Erzeugung Fläche, die mit der Aufräumarbeiten gekoppelt sendet eine sehr positive Botschaft an die Welt und helfen bei der Erzeugung von Tourismus. "

Ross Honey wer war verantwortlich für die Etablierung und Förderung einer Reihe von hochkarätigen internationalen Veranstaltungen als Austragungsort der Tagung und Pressekonferenz am 14. April in Chiprana um 20.00 Uhr im Rathaus zusammen mit anderen Beamten.
